Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Riverton Solutions LLP ("Company", "we", "us"), a limited liability partnership registered in India, governing your use of the Moxaim platform, website, and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Service

Moxaim provides AI-powered mock interview practice, career domain assessments, MCQ rounds, coding challenges, and performance feedback. The Platform is designed as a practice and preparation tool only and does not constitute professional career counselling, recruitment services, or guaranteed employment assistance.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice.

3. User Obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when uploading a CV or configuring a session.
• Use the Platform solely for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes (unless you have a valid commercial licence).
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the Platform's AI outputs for competing products.
• Not input unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful content into interview sessions.
• Not use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Platform.
• Not attempt to circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All interview questions, feedback reports, domain assessments, roadmaps, and other content generated by the Platform are produced by large language model AI systems (Anthropic Claude). You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or hallucinations.
• Scores and feedback are indicative approximations, not professional evaluations.
• Career domain recommendations are based on your self-reported answers and do not guarantee suitability for any particular profession.
• The Platform is not a substitute for advice from qualified career counsellors, HR professionals, or recruiters.
• Interview outcomes in real interviews may differ materially from practice session performance.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, question databases, scoring algorithms, and other content on the Platform (excluding AI-generated responses to your inputs) are the exclusive property of Riverton Solutions LLP and protected under applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal practice. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

6. Assessment Credits

Access to assessments is governed by assessment credits held against your account. We do not currently take payments of any kind, and no paid subscription is offered. If that changes we will publish the prices and payment terms here first, with a revised "Last updated" date, before charging anyone anything.

One credit buys one assessment, which you do not have to finish in one sitting:

• When a credit is used: the credit is taken when the assessment begins, not when it finishes. Starting is what consumes it.
• Pausing: you may stop between rounds and return later. Resuming costs nothing further. You cannot pause inside a round, because rounds are individually timed.
• The window: an assessment stays open for 7 days from when it first started. Pausing does not extend it and nothing else resets it. A round that begins inside the window may always be finished, however long it takes.
• If the window closes: the assessment ends and no report is produced. We do not issue partial reports, because a score drawn from some of the rounds would not honestly describe how ready you are. The credit is not returned.
• One at a time: you may hold one open assessment at a time. Choosing to abandon it and start over closes the first one for good and spends another credit.
• If we lose your progress: if an assessment cannot be continued because the work you had saved can no longer be found, that is our failure and not your decision. Closing it returns the credit to your account automatically. We limit how often this can happen without review, so if you have hit that limit the assessment still closes and you should contact us to have the credit restored by hand.
• Otherwise credits are not refundable and hold no cash value. They cannot be transferred between accounts.

Students reaching the Platform through a college or institutional programme may instead draw on credits allocated by that programme. Those are governed by the arrangement with the institution.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Riverton Solutions LLP and its partners, designated partners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Loss of employment opportunities, interview failures, or career outcomes of any kind.
• Inaccuracies or errors in AI-generated feedback, questions, or assessments.
• Data loss resulting from browser storage clearing or device failure.
• Service interruptions due to third-party API outages (Anthropic, OpenAI, JDoodle, Supabase).

Our total aggregate liability for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Riverton Solutions LLP in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in West Bengal, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute by contacting us at legal@moxaim.com and allowing 30 days for resolution.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
